General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope

The services of Vienna airport taxi are provided exclusively on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions (GTC), the service descriptions and the price lists.
Differing terms and conditions of the customer do not apply unless they are expressly acknowledged in writing by Flughafentaxi Wien.

2. Conclusion of contract

A contract is concluded as soon as Vienna airport taxi has confirmed the customer's booking in writing or electronically.
The scope of services results from the written order confirmation or, subsidiary, from the written offer. Information in brochures, price lists or on the website is only binding if expressly referred to.

3. Benefits

Transport takes place in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act (StVO) and the Passenger Transport Act (PbefG).
Passengers are obliged to follow the instructions of the chauffeur or Vienna Airport Taxi.

  • In the event of violations such as: B. Endangering road traffic or disregarding safety regulations, transport can be refused.
  • In such cases the full fare will be charged.

4. Pick up at the airport

  • Changes to the agreed pick-up time must be made forthwith be communicated.
  • The maximum waiting time is 35 minutes from the actual landing of the aircraft.
  • If more time is required, this must be communicated in good time.
  • If notice is not given in a timely manner, Flughafentaxi Vienna reserves the right to cancel the trip and charge the full fare.

5. Prices

  • The prices include statutory sales tax.
  • The prices valid on the day of booking apply.
  • Individual flat rate prices only apply to the agreed date and time window.
  • The customer bears additional costs due to delays that are not the fault of Vienna Airport Taxi.

6. Obligations and liability of the customer

The customer undertakes:

  • Notify us immediately of any changes to your contact details (name, address, billing address, etc.).
  • To provide complete and accurate information about passengers, time and place of transport.
  • To use the services of Flughafentaxi Vienna properly and:
    • not to disrupt the transport.
    • not to cause any damage.
    • to comply with the ban on smoking in the vehicle.
    • to pay the fare.

Violations can result in claims for damages from Vienna Airport Taxi.

7. Liability of Vienna Airport Taxi

Vienna airport taxi is only liable for damage:

  • In the event of intent or gross negligence.
  • In case of injury to life, body or health.
  • For property damage up to a liability limit of €1,000 per passenger.

Liability for delays due to force majeure (e.g. traffic jams, weather, road closures) is excluded.

8. Payment Terms

  • Flughafentaxi Vienna reserves the right to request a deposit of up to 50% of the total price before the journey.
  • Remaining payments must be made within the specified period.
  • In the event of late payment, Flughafentaxi Wien will charge default interest of 5% above the base interest rate as well as reminder fees of €10 per reminder.

9. Cancellations and withdrawal

Cancellations are only effective if made in writing. Vienna airport taxi calculates:

  • Free of charge: Cancellations up to 24 hours before the start of the trip.
  • 50% of the fare: Cancellations up to 12 hours in advance.
  • 80% of the fare: Cancellations up to 3 hours in advance.
  • 100% of the fare: Later cancellations or no-shows.

Costs that have already been incurred (e.g. waiting time) will be charged regardless of the cancellation.

10. Disclaimer of liability for missed appointments

Vienna airport taxi is not liable for delays due to:

  • Traffic jams or road closures.
  • Bad weather.
  • Incorrect data transmission by the customer.

11. Applicable Law and Place of Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies exclusively.
